Secrets hidden deep in your heart

You might not even know some of the deepest feelings hiding inside your heart until they come out of your mouth. (Proverbs 23:7a) Watch, then, what you say. Not as a guard watches for escapees; but as a detective watches for clues. Not settled in your spirit? Then have a listen to yourself. Are the words you speak feelings that are working their way to the surface? As they come up, don't be afraid to address each of them, even the ugly ones, speaking truth in love, and praying for the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16).

Hey! I've just added you to my RSS feed, though the pale green font means I have to come ALL THE WAY OVER here to read your thoughts. Looking forward to harassing you in future posts!

I'm humbled that you'd be kind (and daring!) enough to link to me. I need to get a "links" column up and reciprocate.

While not a religious person anymore, I can say that there is still a lot of truth in what you brought up today.

I've tried an "only honesty" policy for a while, but find myself settling back in to the old routine oh so quickly. Ideally, being bluntly honest while tempering it with humor or compassion (as the case warrants) is the goal.

Once in a while, it leads me to something moving or geuinely useful. But as you say in your profile, I'm not where I want to be yet either!

Oops.... Guess I should say that "Bias Odd Virus" = David Brosius (anagram). Didn't realize it wouldn't show that in my post.

Thanks for the comments, David. I am proud to have you under my "people that intrigue me" and always value your broad viewpoint AND your writing style :)

If by "broad viewpoint" you mean "feminine side" then read on, girl!
